The Pod at The Village
The Pod is a 4-week support group for breastfeeding mothers who are seeking a safe, intimate space in which to connect and share experiences of early parenthood. The first days, weeks, and months with a new baby are filled with many highs and lows. The 4-week format will focus on this delicate transition to parenthood and will include the following topics:
Week 1: Introductions and birth/breastfeeding stories
Week 2: Processing the emotions of parenthood
(the baby blues, highs and lows including expectations and disappointments)
Week 3: Taking Care - Balancing self-care and baby care
Week 4: Managing relationships and role transitions with partner and family
The Pod is facilitated by Sarah Hastings, MSW, IBCLC
Open to new mothers who have a baby between 0-6 months.

Weekly Meet-Up, Tuesdays @ 11am
The Village Meet-Up is a safe place for mothers to get feeding support (pumping/breastfeeding/chestfeeding/supplementing), as well as develop friendship & community. Meet-Up is an open discussion of feeding, parenting, sleep, and other new parent topics.

Meet-Ups are 60 min. $20 per class or purchase a package.

Making it Work: Back to Work Planning
We know the process of returning to work as a breastfeeding parent can be overwhelming. Let us help you to create a plan for your return to work based upon your work environment and schedule. Class also includes tips for bottle-feeding, work/life balance, supporting milk supply and any other questions participants may have.

Tummy Time!™ Method
Feel like your baby doesn’t like “tummy time”? Looking for a way to connect with your baby & foster movement and development? Concerned about head-turning preference or “flat spots”? Join Angela Selkregg, licensed Occupational Therapist for the TummyTime! Method. Caregivers will learn about & practice: tummy time, relaxation techniques, massage, calming techniques & various activities for engagement & connection. The class is open to babies 3-weeks to precrawling. Class size limited.

Infant Massage with Wonder Baby Therapy
In this class guided by Wonder Baby Therapy , you will learn and practice head-to-toe infant massage strokes to help soothe your baby's tummy troubles, relieve muscle tension, and improve sleep patterns. Massage also decreases stress levels in you and your baby and supports your early bonding experience through positive touch.

Infant CPR for Friends & Family
This class will focus on teaching CPR techniques for Infants and Children (we will touch briefly upon CPR for Adults). We will also be going over choking/breathing emergencies, as well as addressing drowning emergencies and basic first aid.
This class is designed for expecting parents, parents, caregivers, and grandparents. THIS IS NOT A CERTIFICATION CLASS.
Additional participants can be added at a discounted rate of $30 per person.
*Non-mobile infants are welcome to attend with their caregivers.

Baby Blossoms Developmental Playgroup
This 4-week Baby + Me group, led by Paula Bradley, MOT, OTR/L, Maternal + Pediatric Occupational Therapist is for babies and their caregivers.
We will focus on developmental milestones, play ideas, and connecting with other parents/caregivers.
Week 1: Sensory play and sensory systems Part 1.
Week 2: Sensory play and sensory systems Part 2.
Week 3: Developmental Milestones + Activities
Week 4: Motor Skills Development

Babywearing 101 with Mama Connect
Join Starlita from The Mama Connect to learn all the basics of babywearing. With a sampling of carriers, slings, and wraps to play with, Starlita will help you learn which carrier is best for you and your baby, as well as teach you the many benefits of wearing your baby. Class will also highlight safety and optimal positioning using the ABCs of Babywearing. You'll leave this class feeling informed, confident, & hands free!

Baby + Me Yoga

Our weekly Baby & Me Yoga Class focuses on gentle yoga for mind-body wellness along with baby bonding time. We'll practice poses with babies on the mat, in our arms, or option for baby-wearing. It's a great way to connect with your little one and others on the parenthood journey! Class is for caregivers with babies (up to pre-crawling.) No yoga experience is necessary. We suggest bringing a baby blanket + yoga mat. ​

Yoga for Motherhood - Monthly Class
MONTHLY CLASS - SUNDAYS, 1:00 PM WITH REBECCA

Whether you have a 6-month-old or a 16-year-old, it is essential to surround yourself with community and seek outlets to rest and restore. This is an opportunity for mothers to share thoughts and experiences, followed by yoga, breath-work, and meditation - giving time and space for just you. Class is beginner-friendly and suitable for all stages of motherhood, including pregnancy and early postpartum.

Family Yoga - Monthly Class
​Come and playfully practice yoga at The Village!
Our once-a-month family yoga class is open to all ages. It's a great way to bond with your kiddos while building body awareness and community connection!
No experience is necessary.
Pre-registration required.
$25 per family (up to 2 kids w/ 2 adults per family). Class packages do not apply.

Tots Yoga - Returns in March!
Playfully practice toddler-friendly yoga - standing, sitting, walking, crawling, + jumping. Enjoy fun yoga games-singing, breathing & moving while improving motor skills + body awareness. Nurture esteem, creativity, + bonding, in a supportive environment. Class participation is designed for tot (crawlers - 4yo) w/ caregiver. ​​
Pre-registration required. Class is 50min.
$25 per class includes one tot + adult. Additional tot: $8. No charge for non-mobile baby w/ tot + caregiver. Up to two children per caregiver.
Class packages do not apply.

Postpartum Core & Pelvic Floor Series
3-WEEK SMALL GROUP SERIES WITH CARRIE

A small group training series designed to help heal, recover, and safely strengthen during the postpartum period. Each class will build upon one another with a focus on pelvic floor, abdominal care, and postural alignment. Come alone or pre-crawling babies can attend.

Rest & Renewal: February "Self Love"
A Candlelit Restorative Yoga Night
with Rebecca
Thursday, February 13th 6:30pm
Take the time to slow down and join us for a 75-minute candlelit restorative yoga class. This class offers soothing movement, gentle breath work, and guided meditation. Class is open to all.

1:1 Postpartum Personal Training
Here at The Village, Carrie offers personalized instruction for moms that are seeking guidance with retraining the core, pelvic function, and postural alignment. As a corrective exercise specialist, yoga instructor, and postural trainer, Carrie blends her modalities and tailors each session to one's specific needs during the postpartum period. Postpartum Massage at The Village
Our postpartum massage and bodywork sessions focus on the new mom’s well-being. Sessions incorporate a range of techniques to help ease the nervous system, alleviate muscle soreness, stabilize weight-bearing joints, restore postural balance and overall relaxation. This can also be a time to assist with scar tissue release from a c section and gentle abdominal massage for core function.
